With infinite sadness, the Consulate of Italy in Brisbane joins the Italian Embassy in Canberra in mourning the passing of Ambassador Francesca Tardioli, an exquisite person, great diplomat, promoter of human rights. We join the family in their grief.
For the benefit of those wishing to express condolences for the passing of the Ambassador, a Condolences Book has been opened at the Consulate of Italy in Brisbane (Level 8, 199 George Street Brisbane City 4000 QLD).
Access to the public is available between 9 am and 4 pm until Friday 25 February.
The Embassy of Italy in Canberra has also opened a “Virtual book of condolences” that will be available for e-messages at the following address: secamb.canberra@esteri.it
We kindly ask that no flowers be sent to the Consulate or the Embassy at this stage.
