IMPORTANT NOTICE: EXTENSION OF THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING DECLARATIONS FOR ACQUIRING CITIZENSHIP BY BENEFIT OF LAW

Please note that the legal deadline established by Article 1, paragraph 1-ter, of Legislative Decree No. 36 of 2025, pursuant to which minors aged 18 or over as of May 24, 2025, children of citizens by birth referred to in Article 3-bis, paragraph 1, letters a), a-bis), and b), of Law No. 91/92, may acquire Italian citizenship status, has been extended by three years, from May 31, 2026, to May 31, 2029.
