Please be informed that from 3:00 am (Brisbane time, AEST) on February 13, 2026, until 9:00 am (Brisbane time, AEST) on February 18, 2026, the VIS operating system will undergo a temporary operational shutdown.
This is a planned and urgent technical intervention that will result in a temporary suspension of visa application processing and the issuance of entry visas on Friday 13 February, Monday 16 February, Tuesday 17 February and Wednesday 18 February 2026.
Please note that, in order to minimize inconvenience to users, appointments that have already been scheduled will be rescheduled to the days immediately before or after the period affected by the operational shutdown, taking into proper consideration priority needs and urgent cases.
