{"id":6363,"date":"2026-01-07T14:59:54","date_gmt":"2026-01-07T13:59:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/consbrisbane.esteri.it\/?p=6363"},"modified":"2026-01-08T12:53:33","modified_gmt":"2026-01-08T11:53:33","slug":"avviso-al-pubblico-modifiche-relative-allacquisto-di-cittadinanza-per-beneficio-di-legge-introdotte-dalla-legge-di-bilancio-per-lanno-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/consbrisbane.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dal_consolato\/2026\/01\/avviso-al-pubblico-modifiche-relative-allacquisto-di-cittadinanza-per-beneficio-di-legge-introdotte-dalla-legge-di-bilancio-per-lanno-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC: AMENDMENTS RELATING TO THE ACQUISITION OF CITIZENSHIP BY BENEFIT OF THE LAW INTRODUCED BY THE BUDGET LAW FOR THE YEAR 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Paragraph 513 of Article 1 of the Budget Law for the year 2026 (Law of December 30, 2025, State Budget for the financial year 2026 and Multi-Year Budget for the three-year period 2026-2028) provides for specific <strong>amendments to Article 4, paragraph 1-bis, letter b) of Law No. 91 of February 5, 1992<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, the amendments in question provide that the declarations made by parents\u2014at least one of whom is an Italian citizen by birth\u2014pursuant to Article 4, paragraph 1-bis, letter b) of Law No. 91\/1992 may be submitted <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">within three years (and no longer within one year)<\/span><\/strong> of the child&#8217;s birth or the subsequent date of establishment of parentage, including adoption, by an Italian citizen.<\/p>\n<p>It should be also noted that, as part of this provision, all the<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong> declarations made for minors are now free of charge<\/strong><\/span>. Therefore, the \u20ac250 fee required by Article 9-bis of Law No. 91\/1992 will no longer be required, pursuant to this new legislative provision.<\/p>\n<p>On this point, it should be noted that <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">the changes established by the budget law are not retroactive, but rather effective as of January 1, 2026<\/span>.
