The Consulate of Italy in Brisbane and the Institute of Italian Culture in Sydney, in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Canberra and the Consulate-General in Melbourne, are pleased to announce the first Australian tour of Roberto Bolle, \u00c9toile of Teatro alla Scala in Milan and Principal Dancer of the American Ballet Theater in New York, as well as Guest Artist at the Royal Ballet in London.<\/p>\n

In Australia for the second time after last year, when he performed only in Brisbane, Queensland, Roberto Bolle comes back again in 2023, thanks to the BIG (Ballet International Gala) production, promoted by the young Australian dancer Joel Burke.<\/p>\n

The show, which lasts approximately two hours, includes the presence of principal dancers from the Royal Ballet of London, the American Ballet, the Australian Ballet and the Astana Opera. The program proposes solos and pas de deux from the classical repertoire as well as contemporary dance performances.<\/p>\n

Here are the dates of Roberto Bolle’s Australian tour:<\/p>\n

20th August 2023 \u2013 4pm – Her Majesty’s Theatre, Adelaide, SA<\/p>\n

22nd August 2023 \u2013 7pm \u2013 Queensland Performing Art Centre, Brisbane, QLD<\/p>\n

26th August 2023 \u2013 12.30pm – Darling Harbor Theater at ICC, Sydney, NSW<\/p>\n

27th August 2023 \u2013 7 pm – Hamer Hall, Melbourne, VIC<\/p>\n
