The Consulate of Italy in Brisbane can be easily reached via email (preferred method) at the following address:; We endeavour to reply as soon as practicably possible. Alternatively, you can contact us via phone, at +61 07 3229 8944, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays exclusively between 9:00am and 10:30am (AEST).

In an emergency involving an Italian citizen in Queensland or Northern Territory, you can reach us during normal business hours and after hours, via the Consulate’s emergency telephone number.


Please note that this number is NOT for visa, passport or general inquiries. Non-emergency calls will be terminated immediately in order to leave the emergency line free. Routine services such as passport applications, reports of birth abroad, visa applications and notarial services are not considered emergencies and are processed during regular business hours.

In case of a life-threatening or time-critical situation, please dial 000 (triple zero) for Police, Fire or Ambulance.
