7th Italian Cuisine Week in the World

The 7th edition of the Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World is about to begin!

This year’s theme is “Conviviality, sustainability and innovation: the ingredients of Italian cuisine for people’s health and the safeguard of the planet”.

From the 14th to the 26th November, convivial events will be held in Brisbane, Queensland and the Northern Territory and you cannot miss them!

In order to be fully updated on the events, read the Special Edition of the Italian Chamber of Commerce’s Newsletter, out from tomorrow, and you will find many proposals from the participating restaurants, with specialized menus, regional ingredients and dishes and dedicated workshops.

On November the 16th, at the Italian restaurant “Tartufo” will be held the Annual Dinner of the Brisbane Section of the Academy of the Italian Cuisine, with awards for the Italian restaurants and chefs that the academics visited and ranked during 2022.

Finally, on November the 26th, Dante Alighieri Society of Brisbane will offer the event: “Facciamo la pasta fatta in casa”. Under the expert guidance of an Italian chef, the secrets of making pasta by hand will be discovered in a laboratory where participants (maximum 20 people) will be given the opportunity to “put their hands in the dough” and at the same time to learn the specific culinary vocabulary. The cooking test will end with a lunch based on fresh (very fresh) pasta with “sugo al pomodoro” and seasonal vegetables. And, of course, a good glass of wine will not be missing. 🙂

I just have to wish everyone … BUON APPETITO!
